Kasodo Ceremony at Mount Bromo
Kasodo CeremonyFrom People who live in Bromo, Tengger's Tribe, the Bromo Mount (Bromo) was believed as saint mount. The Yadnya Ceremony was happened in Tengger once in a year and usually call it Kasada or Kasodo. This ceremony was take place in a purse, where placed at the north of the mount Bromo’s lowest part. The ceremony was happened at midnight until dawn and took place at night when full moon appears. It means Kasodo ceremony happened on 14th or 15th on the Kasodo (the tenth moon) in Javanese Calendar.
